Toshiba B-SX4 TEC Industrial Barcode Printer

The B-SX4 thermal printer is a terrific successor to the popular B-472 thermal printer with enhanced 32 Bit RISC processor & 32 Bit Bus, 8 MB RAM, and new thermal head technology with an Industry leading print head warranty.

Dual Ribbon Motors which controls motor torque for both ribbon rewind and back tension. Less ribbon wrinkle, fewer ribbon breaks, more consistent print quality. Center loading media offers more reliable printhead pressure and more consistent print quality as a direct result of even pressure across the printhead. The B-SX4 uses 600-meter (1968') ribbons which reduces downtime and operator intervention, increases printer efficiency. The user installable, self-aligning printhead offers consistent print quality and easy maintenance.

Ambient temperature sensor controls the print head temperature relative to the environment. Monitoring of the environmental temperature assists to extend printhead life and consistent print quality.

Internal Ethernet enables direct IP addressability, Web printer control for troubleshooting, email printing. Web Enabled Print Control offers web browser management reporting of printer status and ribbon usage with capability to globally update printer firmware, view and modify sensors and adjust printer parameter settings. Control and direct printing, by introducing the capability to send print tasks via email or print directly to the printer using XML commands.

Color-coded connectors within the main board assembly and components areas enable simple and easy troubleshooting with less downtime and faster repair. Worldwide, the Toshiba TEC BX-Series printers have demonstrated reliability and consistency at a high performance level.
